Tamarind

Main chain: (→4)-ß-D-glucose(1→). Side chains: 1: D-xylose-α-(1→6) and 2: D-galactose-β-(1→2)-D-xylose-α-(1→6) [4]. Side chain glycocylation: approx. 80% [7]. The sequences of the sidechains has been determined by NMR to 1-2-2-0, 1-1-2-0, 1-2-1 and 1-1-1-0 [8]
